Controller for Neutron Generators and X-ray System
(Thermo-Fisher Scientific)

EDI has developed several different control systems for Neutron Generators and X-ray sources for Thermo-Fisher Scientific.  EDI designs, develops, and maintains electronics, firmware, and GUI interface for the MP320, P385, D711, B322 as well other special systems.  EDI produces and tests the controller cards for the MP320 and P385 systems.  The system is a complex mix of analog circuitry, high voltage control, FPGA, and microcontroller hardware.

Aluminum Can Measuring System
(Used by Metal Containers, Crown, Cork & Seal, PLM and Ball, to name a few)

EDI designed and developed the CanViewTM system for measuring the thickness of aluminum beverage cans that could measure the thickness of the can and the punch wobble while the can was being made.

Flow Differential Pressure Module

EDI was instrumental in the development of the FDPM® (Flow Differential Pressure Module) MKII system sold by Parker-Hannifin.  The FDPM is a device used for fuel monitoring to judge the condition of the filters.
